Covid19-Info - Winter 2021-22

2G obligation for transport with a cable car

  • From November 15, 2021, a 2G obligation applies to transport with cable cars (vaccinated or recovered according to legal requirements).

Children and adolescents

  • No proof is required for children under 12 years of age.

  • A 2G certificate is required for children and adolescents from 12 years of age.

Exception: For children and young people up to the age of 15 who are required to attend school in Austria: the "Ninja Pass" (= test pass for Austrian schools) is valid as proof. From the age of 16, a 2G certificate is also required for children who are required to attend school in Austria.

  • The 2G proof is checked when the ticket is sold and the ski pass / ticket is activated for the validity of the respective proof (consent under data protection law is required for this)
  • Season and annual tickets that were sold before November 15, 2021 must also be activated.
  • There will be various options for activating the tickets:
    1. Directly at the cash desk
    2. At the ticket machine

Unfortunately, the technical options are still being worked out, so we cannot provide any detailed information on this yet (but we will stay as up-to-date as possible here).
  • Evidence must be carried with you during your entire stay.

Mask requirement

  • An FFP2 mask must be worn in all cable cars and chairlifts as well as in the cable car building from the age of 15.
Children from 6-14 years of age need mouth and nose protection.
Children up to 6 years of age do not need a mouth and nose protection.

  • The obligation to carry according to the SeilbG 2003 does not apply if the 2G proof is not provided.
