Important notices regarding the Venet Bergbahn
Anniversary mass - 10 years of Gegenwartkapelle at Venet
INVITATION to the anniversary mass
- Sunday, September 13, 2026
- 11:30 am anniversary mass with pastor Herbert Traxl
- Musical arrangement: Brass group of MK-Zams
- Allow approx. 30 min. for the ascent via Rifenalbahn and Weinbergbahn.
- Free parking available at the valley station of the Rifenalbahn.

Renovation of the Venetbahn
Due to the renovation and new construction work on the Venetbahn, the Rifenal and Weinbergbahn chairlifts will remain in operation until the works are completed in summer 2026.
The panorama restaurant and the Venet summit hut are open!

Important information regarding path and parking closures
As of August 17, the cable car at Venetbahn will start operating. The work is expected to last 8–9 weeks. For safety reasons, paths directly beneath the cable will be closed.
The following paths are expected to remain open:
- Unterengere Weg
- Tramsweg
- Oberengere Weg
Additionally, the parking lot at Venetbahn will be closed until further notice. Parking is not permitted. Violations may result in legal action for trespassing.

The Rifenal cash desk and the Rifenal- and Weinbergbahn chairlifts will be open in the summer of 2026.
The panoramic restaurant and the summit hut will also be open.

The Venetbahn, Panorama Lift, Hüttenlift and DSB Süd will remain closed.
