Venet Summit Hut
Note on arrival:
- PLEASE NOTE: The summit hut is only accessible via the chairlifts or on foot (approx. 1,400 meters of elevation gain, ascent time: approx. 6 hours). It is NOT possible to drive directly to the summit hut by car.
Please use the free parking lot at the Rifenalbahn.
- Unfortunately, our cable car requires extensive renovation and construction work, which means it cannot operate until the work is completed.
→ The summit hut is therefore only accessible via the Rifenal and Weinberg chairlifts.
- Please allow enough time for the mountain trips and for checking-in. The reception closes at the same time as the chair lifts: Winter at 4:00 PM | Summer at 5:00 PM. We therefore recommend that you arrive at the valley station of the Rifenalbahn at least 30 minutes beforehand.

The Venet Summit Hut is located on one of the most beautiful mountains in the Tirol West holiday region. In winter, it is located right in the middle of the family-friendly ski area, and in summer it is surrounded by the alpine nature of the neighbouring Kaunergrat Nature Park. Take the Venet cable cars to reach your mountain retreat, high above everyday life.
In the winter 2025/26 and summer 2026, the cable car is closed; the hut is only accessible via the Rifenal- and Weinberg chairlifts during this time. The mountain station of the Weinbergbahn is only a few metres away from the summit hut. → Venetbahn opening winter 2026/27
Arrival
The Venet Gipfelhütte features a fully equipped rooftop seminar room with a terrace and panoramic mountain views. A far-reaching setting for corporate events, meetings, workshops, and seminars.
Book your room in the mountains with breakfast and a 4-course dinner menu. Both are served in the neighbouring panorama restaurant, which also serves as the day restaurant for the mountain cable car. The restaurant is open daily until 10 pm for drinks and light snacks.
