Skiing fun on the pleasure mountain Venet
At an altitude of 2,212 metres, the fun of skiing begins on the Genussberg Venet, located right in the heart of the Tyrolean Oberland. Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy varied slopes for carving. The perfectly groomed slopes and wide descents are sure to delight all carving fans. The panoramic restaurant at Venet offers wonderful views and a place to relax.
The ski area is accessible via Rifenal. From winter 2026/27 onwards, the ski area will be accessible again via the Venet cable car.
Renovation of the Venetbahn
Due to renovation and construction work on the Venetbahn, the Rifenal and Weinberg chairlifts will remain in operation until construction is completed in summer 2026. The Hüttenlift will also be operational in the winter of 2025/26.

Opening of the Venetbahn in winter 2026/27
Decision: Venet-South will no longer be operational.
On 26 May 2023, the Venetbahn in Zams began its summer operation. Even during the revision phase for the summer launch, the operation of the lift on the south side was discussed. Shortly before the summer start, the final decision was made at a supervisory board meeting: The Venet-South lift would no longer be put into operation.
